Our Booking Process

If this is the first time you're booking via Airportcarhirespain.com, we've listed below the simple steps that this involves.

1) View an instant quote, choose your vehicle/supplier

On our fast-loading instant quote page we list all of our car rental suppliers at your hire location. For each supplier, as well as their vehicle list, we also show important information such as pick-up details, what the price includes and any payable extras. You'll be able to compare prices and conditions between the different car rental companies quickly and easily, and then make your choice of hire car. Should you need a 'one-way' hire, the one-way options for each supplier are also shown on the quote page.

2) Complete and submit our Booking Form

Check the details of your car hire and then fill in our Booking Form. Although we only ask for the absolute minimum details for you to be able to submit the form (name and e-mail address), we also recommend that you provide a mobile phone number and your flight number. If you don't know your flight number at the time of booking, you can e-mail it to us any time before your travel. As we work on a 'pay on collection' basis, no payment in advance or deposit is required at this stage.

3) Await our confirmation of your booking

We'll confirm your booking with our supplier and then send you our Hire Voucher. During office hours this confirmation is often almost instantaneous (as soon as our staff process your booking). Please bear in mind that 'special vehicles' (e.g. automatic cars, people carriers etc.) may take longer to confirm as they sometimes require manual availability checks by our suppliers' booking departments. You'll receive our Hire Voucher by e-mail and also, if you've requested this, SMS confirmation of your booking to your mobile phone. Our SMS confirmation includes your booking number - you can use this to view your hire voucher online (from our homepage) if you don't have access to your e-mail.

In the event of non-availability of your chosen vehicle, we'll send you an e-mail which will include a link to your quote page so that you can quickly assess possible alternatives. Again, if you've requested SMS notification, you'll also receive a 'not available' SMS to your mobile phone.

4) Print out our Hire Voucher and present this at our supplier's office

You'll need to print out our Hire Voucher and take this with you to present at our supplier's office. If you have any problem printing the voucher, please just let us know and we can fax it ahead to our supplier's office (although your booking will be registered in their system, they normally require a hard copy of our voucher to attach to their paperwork).

Payment of the car hire is made in its entirety direct to our supplier on collection of the vehicle. N.B. Most of our suppliers will only accept payment by credit card (though a couple will also normally accept payment by major debit card). Please consult the 'Payment method' paragraph in the supplier information section on the quote page and the booking form page.
